The images are shot in a two-month trip through Central Vietnam and Mekong Delta (the Southern part of the country), Travelling by motorbike allowed me to get to places where no 4-wheel vehicle can goover narrow bridges made of wood and bamboo, crossing wide parts of Mekong river in a small boat or ferry, or driving through crowded marketplaces vhere even walking could be a problem.
Many people think that Vietnam is a jungle full of small, angry Vietnamese. This is totally wrong. American bombing and local exploataation of forest there's not much left of it, and very few countries can be proud about so gentle and friendly people. Although majority earns less than $1 a day, they will always be happy to pay for your beer, show you around and engage in really interesting conversations. Unfortunately, that is not the case in places where there are many tourists...
