Due to remoteness, rugged landscape, lack of roads and regular transport, most of the way was done by trucks, boat or simply walking jungle paths.
Northern Laos is not a place for much sightseeing, but it is fascinating with a rural life that has not changed much for centuries, tribal villages deep in jungle without roads, and kind people.
